Meditation as a “Practice”

I cannot tell you the number of times a person has come up to me and told me how “hard” mediation is. I used to be one of those people who were just too busy, or my head was too loud, or my ego too big to slow down and listen to the Universe. They say that prayer is speaking to God and Meditation is listening to God. Whether you believe in a Higher Power, Source, or a Universe that is tapped in and turned on to the vibrations of everything that is, or believe that there is nothing beyond the epidermis of your own body, meditation will change your life.

Simply stated, meditation is

1:  to engage in contemplation or reflection

2:  to engage in mental exercise (as concentration on one’s breathing or repetition of a mantra) for the purpose of reaching a heightened level of spiritual awareness.

I teach how to do this either in solo settings or with group workshops and retreats, how to meditate. It is so simple and truly it is easy as well. It can be done in your car, on a plane, on a train. We talk about where, with whom, when, how, and how long.

Meditation is medicine for the body, the mind and the soul.  It is cheap, effective and easily accessible. This practice has been around in a multitude of forms for thousands of years. Clearly, were it not effective, it would not have lasted through time. Now it is time for you to tap into this vast resource.

It just takes willingness and practice. For more, see my blog!
